WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR A NEWBORN SESSION?
My recommendation for newborn photography is within the first 2 weeks of babies life. At this age baby will tend to go off into a deeper sleep, be more comfortable with being undressed and get into a wider range of poses more calmly. This is only a recommendation and newborn photography can most absolutely take place after this period, they can just sometimes take a little bit longer to capture!
HOW LONG DOES A NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT TAKE?
A newborn photoshoot at the Kath D Photography studio is completely baby lead. What does this mean? This means that the whole photoshoot session will be centred around baby's every want and need. There is no set time limit for a newborn photoshoot, they take as long as they take. Allowing us lots of time to stop for feeds, winding, chats and cuddles! On average, they take around 1-2 hours.
CAN I BOOK BEFORE BABY IS BORN?
If baby has not been born yet, you can still book in your session!
Simply choose your package below and put in your due date on the booking form, we will then have a chat and book in your final slot once baby has arrived.
